Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Bassim Khairi Khudair, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at Al-Muthanna University, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the college held the first guidance meeting for class supervisors and counselors, with the attendance of the unit supervisor, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamouz Lafta.

During the meeting, the importance of university psychological counseling and its role in promoting a healthy academic environment was discussed. Additionally, the mechanisms for providing counseling sessions to students were explored, with a focus on addressing student-related issues to protect and support them both psychologically and educationally.
